The Real McCoy Snackfood Co is a progressive Australian owned company which was formed in 1987 to meet the demands of Australian consumers for quality snackfoods. Historically the company was a specialist contract packer of some of Australia's leading private label products such as Homebrand and No Frills. Whilst this still represents an important part of the business it does not allow for the innovation and new ideas that we want to bring to the market.

In 2002 the company launched the Real McCoy range of potato chips. The Real McCoy is a chip that chip lovers will love to eat. As the name suggests it is the real thing - the Real McCoy! Moving to a modern fully equipped factory and warehouse in early 2001 has shown The Real McCoy's commitment to expansion into extra production capacity and quality of product. The equipment used and the setup of the manufacturing plant is modern and in some cases revolutionary to the snackfood industry. Finally we have the outlet for our ideas and creative juices.

Meet Doug Dagg (really that is his name). Doug is our agronomist and has been growing, buying and sourcing some of Australias best spuds for over 26 years. He is a dedicated professional who loves his job.

How about Peter Nedelkovski. He cooks our chips. Peter has worked at The Real McCoy for eight years. Before that, he worked for Smiths cooking chips, and has over 31 years experience. He just loves cooking chips!

These people and dozens of other like them represent the Real McCoy. They are dedicated professionals who are committed to meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Our employees are actively involved in quality control procedures at every stage of production. The result is a corporate spirit and products that set new standards in quality and value.

Our facilities are certified to some of the highest standards available. We regularly use independent auditors to inspect our facility to ensure that we are maintaining the standards required. Our current certifications include HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), WVQMS (Woolworths Vedor Quality Management System) and Coles Quality Standard.
